1. Who we are

Rolé is a social discovery and group planning app operated by RF Design Studio, a star-up based in London, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at support@role-app.social

2. What this waitlist is

By submitting your name and email address on our website, you are registering your interest in the Rolé app ahead of its public launch. You are not entering into a contract for services, making a purchase, or creating an account at this stage.

3. Your personal data

We collect your first name and email address only.

We use this information to:

• Notify you when the Rolé app launches or when early access becomes available

• Send you occasional updates about the product (no more than a few times before launch)

We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests, you have actively opted in by submitting this form, and our use is limited to communicating the thing you signed up to hear about.

Data retention: We will retain your details until the app launches or for a maximum of 24 months, whichever comes first. After that, your data will be deleted unless you have created an account with us.

4. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate data

• Delete your data at any time (unsubscribe / erasure request)

• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting anything prior

To exercise any of these rights, email us at your contact email and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

5. Cookies

Our landing page may use essential cookies for basic analytics (e.g. visit counts). We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking without your explicit consent.

6. Third-party services

We may use third-party tools to manage our waitlist (e.g. an email platform). These providers process your data on our behalf and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements. We use Google Sheets, operated by Google LLC, to store waitlist submissions. Google processes data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy (policies.google.com). We may update these terms from time to time. Any material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
